Tomorrow is the last day of 2018 and we are about to begin a New Year. I am excited to begin a 10-Day Heart Challenge put together by a friend of mine. This is a great way to begin the year focused on your relationship with God. “Another year of life is now in the past. A new year is opening before us. What will be its record? What will we each inscribe upon its spotless pages? The manner in which we spend each passing day will decide this this question.... OHC 7.2 “Let us enter upon the new year with our hearts cleansed from the defilement of selfishness and pride. Let us put away every sinful indulgence, and seek to become faithful, diligent learners in the school of Christ. A new year opens its unsullied pages before us. What shall we write upon them? ...” OHC 7.3

Staci Schefka is our speaker this Sabbath and will share lessons from nature on how we can Be Transformed by Christ. All are welcome!

On Sabbath, September 1, we enjoyed one of the last days of summer on a church picnic to the Robert H. Long Nature Park.

This coming Sabbath (September 1) we will hear part 2 of our series on the life of Gideon for our worship service at 11:15 which will be immediately followed by a picnic lunch at Robert H. Long Nature Park. If you desire, bring a vegetarian item for our haystack (taco salad) potluck, lawn chairs, and comfortable walking shoes for an afternoon walk around the park. Come and enjoy the beautiful Sabbath with us!

On May 12, the Lakes Area church plant in Walled Lake officially became a company which is one step closer to becoming a church. We are growing a permanent lighthouse in this community. Come and be a part of this vibrant, joyful community of believers.
